Guidelines for maintaining discipline, dignity, and academic excellence.

Discipline

School Policies

To ensure a safe and productive learning environment, all students must adhere to the following guidelines.

Uniform & Appearance

  • It is compulsory to wear proper uniform in the school.
  • For boys: Hair must be neatly trimmed.
  • For girls: Hair must be in one plait using only black hair bands/pins.
  • Prohibited: Jewellery, Mehandi, Kajal, Nail Paint, and colored hair pins.
  • Identity Cards must be brought daily.

General Discipline

  • Students cannot leave premises during school time without written permission from the Principal.
  • Students must behave respectfully to teachers, staff, and others inside or outside the school.
  • Students are expected to maintain good relations and avoid anti-social activities.
  • Lunch and books must be brought by the student; no late deliveries allowed.
  • Character assassination of any staff or student is a punishable offence.

Academics & Attendance

  • Attendance in all Formative/Unit tests and Summatives is compulsory as per CBSE.
  • If a student is absent for more than 15 days without prior info, their name will be struck off.
  • Half-day leave is not considered except on medical grounds.
  • Medical Certificates must be submitted for leave on exam days (no weightage given).
  • Parents must monitor academic progress regularly.

Prohibitions & Penalties

  • Damaging school property (painting, scribbling, breaking furniture) attracts severe fines, suspension, or expulsion.
  • No birthday parties in campus. Only sweets without wrappers allowed. No return gifts.
  • Possession/use of intoxicating agents leads to severe disciplinary action.
  • Fraud, theft, and anti-social activities are punishable by law.
  • Principal’s decision regarding disciplinary action is final and binding.

Transfer Certificate Policy

A student is eligible to receive the TC (Transfer Certificate) only after obtaining the ‘No-dues certificate’ from the accounts office. If the TC is lost, a duplicate cannot be provided unless instructed in writing by the Education Department.

Circular Ref: 26.11.14
  1. All Affiliated Schools must upload scanned copies of issued Transfer Certificates on their official website.
  2. Transfer Certificates must follow the format given in Annexure 1 of the Examination Byelaws.
  3. The text 'AFFILIATED TO THE CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION' along with the Affiliation Code must be mentioned on the TC.
  4. For transfers between CBSE schools, affiliation status must be verified via the Board's website (cbse.nic.in).
  5. Heads of Schools must ensure the issuing school appears on the Board's list of affiliated schools.
  6. TCs must be countersigned by the Manager/Secretary/Member of the School Managing Committee.
  7. In cases of direct admission or Board approval, the TC must be forwarded to the Board.
  8. Any doubt regarding a TC should be referred to the Board for clarification.
  9. Schools must make all-out efforts to admit students with valid TCs from recognized Boards.
